GC SCHOLARSHIP + ESPY INITIATIVE

Students in the Game Changers organization who attain a cumulative 3.0 minimum GPA and 30 hours of community service during the current school year (as well as obtain high marks in the other areas of their academic and social portfolio) have the distinct honor to be put in the running for a scholarship and an expenses-paid trip to the ESPYS.

This experience is meant to showcase possible professional paths for student-athletes who may be considering a career affiliated with sports. Viewing USC, UCLA, museums, recording studios, YouTube, Venice Beach, Santa Monica Pier, and dining at infamous Los Angeles eateries (such as In and Out Burger and Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles) always adds to the experience. No year is quite the same, as each student helps to shape the experience in LA.

At Game Changers, we require more than the minimum when it comes to student excellence. If you know a student who is up to the challenge of being a Game Changer, have them download the Game Changers App, by searching for GC360 in their App Store, for a chance to be awarded an experience of a lifetime.

Phil Annarella, Jr. Legacy Scholarship and ESPYS Experience

On September 6, 2019 Game Changers changed its annual scholarship in memory of Phil Annarella, Jr., affectionately known as Coach Annarella, for his dedication to student athletes across the United States. The weight of his legacy continues to live on through those of us who he championed and mentored on this side of Heaven.

Game Changers is choosing to memorialize Coach Phil Annarella in the fabric of the organization by naming our annual scholarship in his honor. Only to be considered of renaming by an equal or greater recognition within the organization. Until then, Game Changers presents: The Phil Annarella, Jr. Legacy Scholarship.

(Subtext) This scholarship is awarded to individual(s) who in-spite of wins or adversities, exemplifies character, great work ethic, and a determination to never throw in the towel for the people and goals that they are most passionate about!

Game Changers values the investment that our partners and sponsors make to the organization, and we have put metrics into place to make the larger audience aware of donor collaboration (pre, during, and post events). We celebrate our youth and welcome you to join our mission by becoming a financial investor in the cause. The sponsorships are broken down into monthly contributions, over a one-year period.
